Dr. Kenneth Hoover serves as a Clinical Professor and Assistant Director of Simulation Learning at the Workman School of Dental Medicine, where he supports the development and integration of simulation-based education to enhance clinical training and student readiness. In his role, Dr. Hoover is dedicated to creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences that reflect High Point University’s commitment to innovation, excellence, and experiential education in healthcare.

 

Dr. Hoover earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rutgers University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. With a strong foundation in clinical dentistry and education, he brings valuable experience to simulation learning and student development within the Workman School of Dental Medicine.

 

Outside of his professional work, Dr. Hoover enjoys spending time with his wife of 36 years, Debbie, and their three children. He also enjoys gardening and golfing, activities that allow him to relax, stay active, and enjoy time outdoors.
