Dr. Shazib is the Dean of the Workman School of Dental Medicine and a board-certified diplomate in Oral Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Boston University, followed by a residency in Oral Medicine at Harvard University, where he provided patient care at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to his residency, Dr. Shazib owned a private dental practice and also worked as a general dentist within a practice network.
Originally from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Dr. Shazib embodies all aspects of the Workman School of Dental Medicine CARE Model and was drawn to High Point University® for its inspiring environment and the dedication of its community.
