Dr. Jason Macik serves as an Attending Dentist and Clinical Assistant Professor at the Workman School of Dental Medicine, where he is dedicated to providing high-quality clinical care while mentoring the next generation of dental professionals. In his role at High Point University, he contributes to a collaborative, patient-centered learning environment that emphasizes clinical excellence, professionalism, and experiential education.
Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Dr. Macik earned his Bachelor of Science in Zoology from North Carolina State University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Medical University of South Carolina. His strong foundation in both biological sciences and clinical dentistry supports his comprehensive approach to patient care and dental education.
Dr. Macik resonates most closely with the “Clinician” aspect of the CARE Model and is passionate about delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care in a supportive clinical environment. He was drawn to High Point University because of its inspiring mission and the opportunity to work alongside dedicated, student-focused colleagues.
