Lisa Smith serves as the Manager of Simulated Patient Encounters at the Workman School of Dental Medicine, where she leads the coordination and development of simulated patient experiences that enhance clinical training and prepare students for real-world patient care. Through her work, Lisa helps create engaging, high-quality learning experiences that support clinical excellence and reflect High Point University’s commitment to experiential education and student success.
Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Education, Master of School Administration, and Educational Specialist (EdS) in Leadership from Appalachian State University. She brings a strong background in leadership, organization, and educational development, contributing to a structured and supportive learning environment within WSDM.
Outside of her professional role, Lisa is a proud mother of three daughters and enjoys a vibrant mix of interests that reflect her love of adventure and wellness. She loves all things Disney, has a passion for football, and enjoys traveling whenever possible. To stay active, Lisa regularly walks and practices reformer Pilates, embracing opportunities to create joyful and meaningful experiences both personally and professionally.
