Madison Skotcher serves as the Healthcare Informatics Specialist – EPIC Systems at the Workman School of Dental Medicine, where she supports the integration of clinical technology and data systems to enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and the overall healthcare experience at High Point University. With a strong background in nursing and healthcare administration, she brings a thoughtful and innovative approach to informatics, helping ensure that technology and clinical workflows align with HPU Health’s commitment to excellence, safety, and patient-centered care.

 

Madison earned her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Guilford Technical Community College, her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from South University, and her Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Liberty University. She also holds certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse through the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation. Her diverse clinical and administrative background allows her to bridge the gap between healthcare delivery, technology, and operational strategy within the Workman School of Dental Medicine.

 

She is passionate about advancing oncology care through research, innovation, and collaboration, including her work with Cancer GPS to support patient-centered solutions. Madison is also actively engaged in community outreach as a board member of the American Cancer Society’s GenNow initiative, reflecting her commitment to service, leadership, and improving healthcare outcomes in the broader community.

 

Outside of her professional work, Madison enjoys traveling, reading, gardening, and kayaking. She values opportunities that promote personal growth, well-being, and meaningful impact, bringing that same spirit of curiosity, compassion, and dedication to her role at High Point University and the Workman School of Dental Medicine.
