Mr. Brandon Dragone, Instructor of Economics, teaches multiple sections of Principles of Microeconomics and Principles of Macroeconomics, as he did while serving as an adjunct instructor for the Phillips School of Business (PSB). His goal in the classroom is to prepare students with real-world hands-on activities as they develop into business professionals of the future.
Prior to joining High Point University, Mr. Dragone worked as a financial advisor specializing in retirement and estate planning. He previously worked in the field of data science, first for Wake Technical Community College in the Institutional Effectiveness Office, and prior to that for AAR Corp working on research and development in military aerospace engineering. Mr. Dragone’s passion for making data tell a story has helped him shape and influence leadership decision-making. He also worked as an independent consultant in applying statistical methods to academic research.
Mr. Dragone earned his BS in International Business from the University of Scranton and a Master’s in Economics from Temple University. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Business Administration from Wilmington University.
Mr. Dragone served as Vice President of the United Colors organization while studying at the University of Scranton, an organization dedicated to increasing and encouraging the voice of minority students on campus. He is published in the Athens Institute for Education & Research.
