James Chenier, Assistant Director, Professional Selling Program, Professor of the Practice of Sales joined High Point University in January of 2025 as an adjunct professor and was hired as a full-time assistant professor in August of 2025. He came to academia after working in the business world after over thirty years leading sales, marketing, pricing, strategy and manufacturing organizations.
In the classroom Professor Chenier is passionate about care for the student and leading learning with student engagement and class participation. He takes his teaching inspiration from the talented professors that taught him at Ferris State University and Northwood University as well as his experience serving on advisory and alumni boards for over twenty years.
