Dr. Joseph Krupa serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Anesthesiology at the Workman School of Dental Medicine, where he is dedicated to advancing clinical excellence and educating future dental professionals in surgical and anesthetic care. At High Point University, he contributes to a dynamic, hands-on learning environment that emphasizes patient safety, precision, and comprehensive care.
Dr. Krupa earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Baylor College of Dentistry. His expertise in oral and maxillofacial surgery and dental anesthesiology supports his commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while mentoring students in complex clinical procedures and surgical techniques.
Through his work in both the clinic and classroom, Dr. Krupa is passionate about helping students develop strong clinical judgment, technical skills, and confidence in managing surgical and anesthesia-related cases. He plays an important role in preparing students to deliver safe, effective care in a variety of clinical settings.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Dr. Krupa enjoys sailing, golfing, competitive shooting, and traveling. His interests reflect a balance of precision, discipline, and adventure – qualities that complement his work in both clinical practice and education.
