Dr. Mohamed pursued his advanced specialty training in Prosthodontics at the University at Buffalo, New York, where he received training in prosthetic rehabilitation and implant surgery, developing expertise in both restorative and surgical aspects of Prosthodontics and implant dentistry. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (Prosthodontics). Dr. Mohamed also earned his Master of Science (MSc) in Oral Sciences from the University at Buffalo, New York.
With academic and clinical experience across multiple continents, Dr. Mohamed brings a diverse international perspective that enriches both his clinical practice and teaching philosophy. He previously served as an Assistant Professor in Prosthodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), contributing to both predoctoral and postdoctoral education.
Dr. Mohamed is an active member of several leading professional organizations, including the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) and the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. He is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and has also founded and served as the Director of the ITI Alabama Study Club. Dr. Mohamed’s professional impact extends to national leadership roles—he had served on the ACP Digital Dentistry Symposium 2024–2025 Committee and acts as a reviewer for the Journal of Prosthodontics and the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, reflecting his deep commitment to advancing the fields of prosthodontics, esthetic dentistry, digital dentistry, and implantology,.
Dr. Mohamed continually elevates patient care by integrating state-of-the-art digital technologies across diverse clinical environments, utilizing workflows that range from hybrid digital-analog approaches to fully digital. Dedicated to innovation in dental education, he actively strives to integrate evidence-based restorative principles with cutting-edge digital advancements, creating a seamless connection between scientific precision and modern technology.
