Dr. Robson Garcia serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at the Workman School of Dental Medicine, where he is dedicated to advancing dental education and supporting the development of future clinicians through high-quality instruction and experiential learning. In his role at High Point University, he contributes to a collaborative academic environment that emphasizes evidence-based practice, clinical excellence, and lifelong learning.
Dr. Garcia earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) from the Federal University of Goiás School of Dentistry in Brazil. He went on to complete both his Master of Science in Dentistry and his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Dentistry at Campinas State University’s Piracicaba Dental School in Brazil, reflecting a strong foundation in research, clinical science, and academic leadership.
His professional interests center on integrating scientific research with clinical education to enhance student learning and patient care outcomes. Dr. Garcia is committed to helping students develop strong clinical reasoning skills and a deep appreciation for evidence-based dentistry within High Point University’s innovative learning environment.
Outside of his professional work, Dr. Garcia enjoys continuing to learn and stay active through board sports, including wakeboarding, snowboarding, and kiteboarding. These interests reflect his enthusiasm for balance, challenge, and continuous personal growth.
