Dr. Zackyry Mohorn serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Endodontics at the Workman School of Dental Medicine, where he is dedicated to advancing clinical education and mentoring future dental professionals in the specialty of endodontics. At High Point University, he contributes to a dynamic, hands-on learning environment that emphasizes precision, patient-centered care, and clinical excellence.

 

Dr. Mohorn earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He continued his advanced training at UNC, completing a Master of Science and Certificate in Endodontics, where he developed specialized expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of pulpal and periapical conditions.

 

His clinical and academic interests center on endodontic therapy, including root canal treatment and the management of complex cases. Dr. Mohorn is passionate about helping students build technical skill, clinical confidence, and a strong foundation in evidence-based practice within High Point University’s innovative educational model.

 

Through his work in both the clinic and classroom, Dr. Mohorn is committed to preparing students to deliver high-quality, compassionate care while advancing the standards of modern endodontic practice.
