Emily Wilhoit is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS). Emily earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Montreat College in psychology and human services, and clinical mental health counseling respectively. Most of her work experience derives from her 5 years at Oasis Recovery Centers, holding the title of Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Clinical Director for the last 2.5 years of her time there. Most recently, Emily started her own private practice in Asheville, North Carolina before joining our team. She has experience working with a myriad of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma related disorders as well as serving the addiction and recovery population. Her professional interests include helping others develop and maintain healthy relationships with themselves and others, heal trauma wounds, and develop emotional safety. Working with Emily you will find a soft landing with lots of laughter and no judgement.
