Dr. Dominick Glavich serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Workman School of Dental Medicine, where he is dedicated to educating and mentoring future dental professionals through a patient-centered and holistic approach to care. At High Point University, he contributes to a collaborative, experiential learning environment that emphasizes clinical excellence, compassion, and the development of well-rounded clinicians.

 

Dr. Glavich earned his Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine. His background in education, combined with his clinical training, supports his commitment to fostering meaningful learning experiences and strong patient-provider relationships.

 

As both a clinician and educator, Dr. Glavich believes that patient-centered care begins with understanding the individual as a whole before focusing on dental needs. He is passionate about helping students develop not only technical skills, but also empathy, communication, and a comprehensive approach to patient care.

 

Outside of his professional role, Dr. Glavich enjoys staying active both physically and spiritually. He spends time at the gym, participates in church activities, and is actively involved in community outreach, reflecting his commitment to service, wellness, and personal growth.
