Mr. David Kame is a Professor of the Practice of Management, Phillips School of Business, at High Point University. Prior to joining in a full-time role, David spent the previous three years in an adjunct role supporting the department. He is also the owner and president of Cost Control Consultants, a strategic consulting firm.

Before joining High Point University, Mr. Kame spent four years as the lead consultant for CenTrak, a healthcare technology company working with Atrium Health and State University of New York (SUNY). Mr. Kame also served as the manager of business operations at Novant Health, program director for Healogics, director of primary care services for Randolph Health and clinic administrator at Cornerstone Oncology. In addition, Mr. Kame spent 10 years in pharmaceutical and business-to-business at Merck, Schering-Plough and Boise Cascade.

Mr. Kame earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) from Saint Joseph’s University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mr. Kame is currently completing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at Liberty University.
