Dr. Reetika Sarkar-Bermudez received her B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. in Statistics from the University of Delhi and her Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She holds actuarial credentials from both the Society of Actuaries (SOA) and the Institute of Actuaries of India, including SOA Exam P (Probability), Exam FM (Financial Mathematics), and VEE Mathematical Statistics.
Her research focuses on high-dimensional data analysis, statistical learning methods, pharmaceutical statistics, and risk modeling. Her teaching interests include probability, mathematical statistics, actuarial science, data analytics, and statistical computing, with an emphasis on helping students develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills through real-world applications.
