Harvest Bellante holds a BA in English from UC Berkeley, and an MFA in Film and Television Production from Chapman University. Harvest teaches a variety of courses within the School of Communication but specializes in feature screenwriting and short script narratives. Harvest serves as a judge for the Virginia Screenwriting contest and has had many of her own scripts place in notable film festivals across the country. Before coming to HPU, Harvest taught at Old Dominion University and worked as the Program Director of the Together We Can Foundation. When she’s not writing, Harvest and her husband can be found catering to the wants and needs of their mini-dachshund, Kira.
