Dr. Courtney L. Bradley began her career in academia at High Point University by joining as a founding faculty member for the new Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy in 2015. During her tenure at High Point University, she previously served as an Assistant Professor and Director of the Clinical Skills Laboratory and now currently serves as an Associate Professor and Director of Teaching and Learning. Dr. Bradley obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy, followed by a community pharmacy residency at Kroger Pharmacy and the University of Cincinnati, and an academic fellowship at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy.

 

Dr. Bradley specializes in diabetes care and skills laboratory education, while also practicing as a pharmacist at Deep River Drug, a local independent community pharmacy. She obtained her Board Certification in Ambulatory Care (BCACP) in 2016. She coordinates multiple courses including Pharmacy Law & Ethics and Clinical Skills laboratories, and contributes to courses related to diabetes management, self-care therapeutics, and board preparation. She is nationally recognized for her scholarship of teaching and learning research, having received the 2022 AACP Emerging Teaching Scholar Award, and has published extensively on best practices for teaching clinical skills to pharmacy students. She has also been recognized by our state’s pharmacy organization receiving the NCAP’s Distinguished Young Pharmacist award in 2020 and the NCAP’s Fellow Practitioner Recognition Program in 2024.
