Dr. Samuel Adeosun is a neuroscientist and licensed pharmacist. Before joining FWSOP, Dr. Adeosun did multiple postdoctoral research fellowships conducting basic science research on pathophysiology and novel therapeutics in Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and non-alcoholic fatty liver diseases.
After getting his U.S. pharmacy license, Dr. Adeosun practiced in both retail and hospital settings before joining FWSOP as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Sciences in August 2020. He coordinates the Population Health and Pharmacoepidemiology course where he teaches students how to interpret, evaluate and apply clinical research literature in practice. He also developed and coordinates an elective course (Cannabis: Basic Science and Clinical Evidence in Neuropsychiatric Disorders). In addition, he teaches the neurology module in Pharmacotherapy III, among other courses.
Dr. Adeosun’s research centers on leveraging data science and analytics to uncover new insights and inform evidence-based decisions in pharmacy practice and education. He also currently serves as FWSOP’s Director of Programmatic Assessment.
