Mr. Scot McIntosh serves as the Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy lab manager. Since 2015 in this role, Scot oversees daily operations for faculty research laboratories, supports cutting-edge research, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Beyond technical leadership, Scot is committed to the training and mentorship of undergraduate and graduate pharmacy students who have interest in learning laboratory techniques, experimental design and data analysis. With 25 years of expertise in behavioral pharmacology and neurochemistry, Scot is most proficient in surgical procedures, behavioral testing paradigms to study drug effects on learning, memory, and reward systems along with various neurochemical assays that link these behaviors.
