Dr. Kimmery Migel is an Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy & Director of Curriculum at HPU. She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist and is Certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment. Her clinical expertise is in helping people with foot and ankle pathologies. Dr. Migel holds a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Science, a Masters and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College, and a PhD in Human Movement Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Migel’s research focuses on developing new, portable technologies, real-world interventions, and rehabilitation protocols to address movement impairments following orthopedic injuries and prevent long term disability. At High Point University Dr. Migel teaches in the Musculoskeletal and Human Anatomy courses as well as continuing her research. Dr. Migel loves to help physical therapy students grow into skilled, inquisitive clinicians.
