Garrett Hess serves as the Biomechanics Research Engineer for the Department of Physical Therapy at HPU. He has earned degrees from East Carolina University (BS – Health Fitness) and The University of Memphis (MS – Health Studies: Exercise, Sport & Movement Sciences). Garrett is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CSCS) and a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach (USAW-L1). Garrett comes to HPU with experience in biomechanics, sports science and sports performance, working with a variety of demographics, some of which include NFL, MLB, PLL and Collegiate athletes along with general population and military personnel. Garrett is thrilled to be a member of the HPU family and support the work of the Department of Physical Therapy.
