Come watch a fulldome show with us on our 50-ft dome in the Culp Planetarium! These professionally-produced, 25 minute films are both educational and entertaining, and they highlight the full capabilities of our state-of-the-art 4K dual laser projection and 5.1 surround sound systems. Shows will cover topics in astronomy, Earth science, biology, and more; all are suitable for general audiences. Trained planetarium operators will welcome visitors and give a brief overview of the facility before screening each film. Shows last approximately 30 minutes.
Tickets for the planetarium shows will be available for pick-up at the entrance to the Culp Planetarium on Friday, 2/7 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm, and on Saturday, 2/8 from 10:00am – 4:45pm. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. Each show time will require tickets. Doors will open 10 minutes prior to the show.
