Come watch a fulldome show with us on our 50-ft dome in the Culp Planetarium! These professionally-produced, 25 minute films are both educational and entertaining, and they highlight the full capabilities of our state-of-the-art 4K dual laser projection and 5.1 surround sound systems. Shows will cover topics in astronomy, Earth science, biology, and more; all are suitable for general audiences. Trained planetarium operators will welcome visitors and give a brief overview of the facility before screening each film. Shows last approximately 30 minutes.
Tickets can be picked up in person from the Culp Planetarium lobby from 12:45-4:00pm on Friday and from 9:45am-4:45pm on Saturday (while supplies last). Tickets for any showtime over the weekend can be picked up in advance. It’s recommended to pick up tickets as early as possible to ensure your preferred showtime! Tickets are first-come, first-served, and shows are limited to one attendance per person over the weekend.
