Hi, I'm Jodi from Rolling Stone. I'm also a 2015 High Point University graduate. When I heard that HPU was going to be in its own episode of The College Tour, I had to come back to campus to see what it was all about. Come meet the cast with me.

Thank you so much for sitting down and talking to me. I have seen the episode, so you did amazing, but for the viewers at home who might not be familiar with you yet, can you introduce yourself and talk a little bit about what you talked about on the show?

Yeah, so my name is Grant Hines. I am in the communication and business leadership program here at HPU. I graduated with a journalism degree last year, and to be in this was amazing. I love being on camera. I love promoting the school, and I love whenever I can work on my craft.

What did you talk about during your segment and why was it important for you that that's what you got to talk about?

Yeah, so I talked about the tuition-free Masters program that HPU offers, the CBL program. And it was important because I've benefited from it in a lot of ways, so I wanted to kind of get back and promote it to students that are coming to the university.

And when they came to you and said High Point is going to be featured on this show, we want you to be a part of it, I imagine as a broadcast journalism student you were like I was born ready for this, like turn on the lights, start rolling the camera, let's go?

Yeah, of course. I mean, when they announced that HPU was doing it, I was like, of course I can't believe we haven't done it already. A lot of prep work went to it, but going into it, I'm like, I do this so often I'm almost a pro at this point, so I'm ready.

I love that you're like I'm already a star, so this is just one more thing. Now, for a lot of people, this is going to really introduce High Point to them. What are you excited for people to learn about High Point University that you love so much?

I'm hoping that when people see this episode it actually prompts them to come and visit. Seeing it for the first time you're just amazed. You're in awe. And then riding through campus, seeing all the buildings, and then talking to professors and students, and hearing about all the amazing programs, extracurriculars, eating at the dining location, seeing how good they are. For people to see that on camera, um, I don't think it does it justice. I think you have to come and see it. So after people watch the episode then they have to come and see it in person.

My last question for you is once this airs Nationwide, Amazon Prime, there's going to be millions of people watching it. You're going to become such a well-known face. Are you ready and prepared for that level of fame?

Yeah, I'm ready. I can, I can handle it well. I will see you on the mean streets of the journalism industry.
