Hi, I'm Jodi from Rolling Stone. I'm also a 2015 High Point University graduate.

When I heard that HPU was going to be in its own episode of The College Tour, I had to come back to campus to see what it was all about. Come meet the cast with me.

I saw you on the College Tour and was blown away by it all. But for the viewers at home who don't know you, tell me who you are and what you talked about a little bit on the show.

My name is Ivana and I a High Point University fourth year Pharmacy student. I've had the incredible opportunity of mixing hard science with entrepreneurship, and only here at HPU could I do both and thrive.

When you heard that High Point was going to be part of the College Tour, tell me what your first thoughts were. Were you shocked, or were you like, yeah duh, have you seen this place?

High Point being part of the College Tour is amazing. High Point is such a gem. It's such a pleasure to be able to share the awesome things I've been experiencing at High Point, and also what other students will come and experience when they come to our campus.

What did you think when you were asked to be a part of it?

I feel like one of the biggest things was, oh my goodness, like there are so many experiences on campus and being able to share mine with students hopefully can be really inspirational. I know that mixing Pharmacy and Entrepreneurship probably isn't the first thing that comes to someone's mind, but from the caring people that have been here I've been able to grow my story and share who I truly am and be the person I am today.

And so I'm really thankful that High Point asked me to be a part of this and to share my story with everyone else and see if that's what they want to do with their life and they can create their own type of future.

I have to say, this is super legit, like this is a full-blown production. How did it feel to be in this world, in this atmosphere?

Definitely different. You're in this space and you're like, oh wow, like all of this is going to culminate into a beautiful realistic version of an everyday life at High Point that being on TV. Wow!

I know you talked about access to innovators when you were on the show. Tell me why that's so important for you to talk about.

Access to innovators has been probably the most impactful piece of my educational journey. If you want to go somewhere, ask someone that's been there. And so I would say that being able to talk with Marc Randolph and say, hey you've taken your business to such huge heights and I want to go somewhere with my business, how did you do it? Not only can I ask him what would you do if you were in my shoes, but what skills can I build and grow on so that I can be where I want to be.

I mean, so you and Marc Randolph are basically best friends, it sounds like. Besties? Yeah, no, he's a wonderful mentor. And it's been awesome to just be a part of having that as an access to my growth and my path.

I mean, you're already so impressive and now you're going to be on the show. The world is going to see some of what you accomplished. How does that feel?

That definitely feels amazing. I feel like the most important part to me is the fact that students that were just like me when they were coming out of high school are going to be able to see what it's like to be in college, to see who you can become, and I'm happy to be able to share that with other incoming students.
