HPU Welcomes Cook to Freshman Success Program

HIGH POINT, N.C., July 23, 2014 – High Point University recently hired Hilah Cook as a success coach in the Freshman Success Program.

Cook is responsible for providing support and guidance regarding academics, extracurricular activities and more to incoming HPU freshmen.

“I will provide students with the tools needed to navigate their first year at HPU,” says Cook. “I will strive to impact the freshman class through intentional and fun programming, revolving around easing the transition from high school to college, ensuring that students at HPU feel welcomed into the family and community.”

Cook received her Bachelor of Arts in communication from Catawba College. She also received a Master of Education in student personnel administration in higher education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
