HPU Fraternity Surprises Veteran with Track Chair

High Point University’s Kappa Alpha Order fraternity surprised local veteran Michael Verardo with a $16,000 Track Chair. In total, the fraternity raised $26,000, with $16,000 going toward the track chair and $10,000 going to the Independence Fund to benefit other wounded veterans.

HPU Fraternity Raises $26,000 and Track Chair for Wounded Veteran

High Point University’s Kappa Alpha Order fraternity surprised a local veteran on April 23 when they revealed they’ve raised $16,000 to purchase a Track Chair for him. The students revealed the surprise to Michael Verardo at the HPU campus along with representatives from the Independence Fund, a leading national veteran’s organization.
