HPU has acquired a new zip code that will be unique to our campus. It will streamline deliveries throughout our city and university.
The new 27268 zip code, which goes into effect Jan. 1, removes HPU mail from the city’s system and allows residents of High Point, as well as campus, to receive mail faster.
“The new zip code allows us to keep our mail out of the local mail stream, which decreases the amount of time it takes for both community members and our students to receive deliveries,” says Steve Potter, senior director of facility operations.
Effective Jan. 1, 2015 the mailing address for the university will be:
High Point University
833 Montlieu Avenue
High Point, NC 27268
The USPS will honor the old zip code of 27262 for one year, until Jan. 1, 2016.
Our campus post office sees an influx of packages in January as your students return from Christmas break. We encourage you to begin using the new address on all correspondence when possible beginning Jan. 1.
