Facebook is a popular free social networking website that allows registered users to create profiles, upload photos and video, send messages and keep in touch with friends, family and colleagues. High Point University has 22,129 followers on Facebook!
Twitter is an online social networking service that enables users to send and read short 140-character messages called “tweets.” High Point University has tweeted over 5,400 times and averages around 125 tweets per month!
Instagram is an online mobile photo-sharing, video-sharing and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures and videos, and share them with their followers. High Point University has posted 2,237 times (and growing) and has an average of 100 posts per month!
LinkedIn is a business-oriented social networking service. There are currently 17,323 people keeping up with High Point University’s news and student career/internship updates!
Youtube
Youtube is a a video-sharing website. High Point University currently has 14 playlists spanning academic programs, HPU in the news, career and internship profiles, and Access to Innovators. Be sure to subscribe so that you don’t miss out on any new videos!
Google Plus
Google Plus is a social network from Google. To date, High Point University has had 180,624 views on Google Plus!
Users can upload, save, sort, and manage images—known as pins—and other media content (e.g., videos and images) through collections known as pinboards. Pinterest acts as a personalized media platform. High Point University has over 1,700 pins on 40 boards covering topics such as happy moments at HPU, statues on campus, and inspirational daily quotes.
Flickr
Flickr is a photo sharing website where users can download and save high-resolution images from High Point University. Since joining, we have uploaded 12,193 photos across albums such as Commencement 2015, snow photos, MLK Day of Service, and Winter Family Weekend, to name a few.
