Value of Giving is Engrained in HPU’s Philosophy

Dear Parent,

On Monday, January 18, High Point University honors the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a day of service to humankind. The value of giving is engrained in HPU’s educational philosophy as students, faculty and staff contribute more than 100,000 volunteer hours and invest almost a million dollars in charitable causes in our community annually. This “Day of Service” honoring Dr. King is one example of the many ways that the HPU family expresses its appreciation to the city of High Point.
