Dear Parents,
Providing a holistic, values-based education remains the focus at HPU. The result of that focus is best shown in the outcomes of HPU graduates. Students like Wayne, PA native Stephanie Bellisario have already secured jobs several months before their May graduation. Stephanie credits her engaging professors, experiential learning opportunities and guidance from Career and Professional Development for her transition from college graduate to Lincoln Financial’s business operations team.
Our focus on student outcomes is demonstrated in one aspect by our 95% placement rate for Class of 2015 graduates (employed or admitted to graduate programs within 6 months after graduation). You can read more about how students embark on a path to success at High Point University just like Stephanie did here.
Achieving relevant outcomes is the result of a myriad of academic initiatives, instilling life skills, and developing unique learning opportunities for your student. Our most recent innovative learning initiative brings Apple Co-founder Steve Wozniak as HPU’s Innovator In Residence. “Woz” will be in the classroom, spending time mentoring, teaching, and inspiring students to, as he puts it, “find new ways to solve old problems.” World leaders, innovators, and change agents are attracted to HPU and students benefit measurably from face-to-face interaction. You can view insightful conversations between these global leaders and President Qubein in our Access to Innovators series here.
The continued success of High Point University and its students is a result of your passionate advocacy and steadfast support. We appreciate your connection with this special place. Whether your student spent time with you or traveled elsewhere during spring break, we are glad to have them back at their HPU home.
With respect,
Roger Clodfelter
