How HPU helped you get there: “High Point University has helped me to truly strive to achieve my highest potential through all the great mentors and professors I have met throughout my four years. Without the constant guidance from mentors and real world professionals High Point University brings in every year, I would not be as successful as I am today.
Susan Brien in Career & Professional Development also allowed me to achieve extreme success in the business world due to her constant dedication towards my professional development. I had worked with her since freshman year and ever since my career has changed for the better.”
Most impactful mentor at HPU: “Professor Larry Quinn and Randy Moser have been excellent mentors for me. They have provided me with countless techniques to use in interviews and in the sales world. Through them I found my passion for sales and the ability to conquer any interview. Upon meeting these two business professionals, I joined the sales club and found tremendous opportunity within multiple companies.”
Most impactful moment at HPU: “My most impactful moment was when I became a brother of Pi Kappa Phi. The brothers at the fraternity really helped mold me into the person I am today and made my fear of public speaking a thing of the past. They have supplied me with many opportunities on campus and in the business world while providing me a family away from home. This moment was a vital turning point in my life.”
Advice for underclassmen: “Make sure that you utilize all that High Point University has to offer. Whether that is the professors, classes, events and public speakers, make sure that you are constantly getting involved. High Point Is an amazing institution that will set you up for success.“
