How HPU helped you get there: “HPU’s sales program and PSB Selling Club have done so much to help me get where I am today. Professors Larry Quinn and Randy Moser have given me the tools I need to reach my full potential. They give every student the tools they need to grow and find success on the path to landing their dream job. The selling club also gave me the opportunity to network and build connections with potential employers. The goal of Professors Quinn and Moser is to get all of their students jobs by graduation and they really stick to that by providing endless opportunities.

I also met with the Career and Professional Development team for help in several different ways. They were able to help me improve my resume and my LinkedIn page, while also helping me with interview skills. They prepared me so well for a variety of interview processes by showing me how to prepare for each interview and how to present myself in a professional way”

Most impactful mentor at HPU: “Randy Moser has by far been my most impactful mentor at HPU. Professor Moser is so inspirational, helpful and caring that he has made a measurable mark on my life. He helped me realize that I wanted to get into a sales career and has prepared me for life post-graduation as well. Professor Moser was so invested that helped me realize my potential and what I needed to do in order to be successful. I feel that I am more prepared to start my career than others in the same field thanks to him.”

Most impactful moment at HPU: “Accepting a bid and being initiated into Kappa Alpha Order fraternity. Kappa Alpha is filled with such great men that they were able to help me grow not only as a student but also as a person. Being a part of Kappa Alpha has lead to me meeting some of my best friends and helped me grow my connections for the future.”

Advice for underclassmen: “To be successful after graduation, never be afraid of failure. Even the most successful people in the world have failed at one point or another. One of the best parts about failure is that it can present new opportunities that you never would have seen before. Also, when you fail it means is that you are taking risks. If you are not taking risks, then you will never be able to reach your full potential. ”
