Hometown: Cherry Hill, New Jersey
Major: Accounting
Post-graduation plans: Casey joins the accounting team of Drucker & Scaccetti as a tax associate. She works on tax returns including but not limited to business returns, personal returns, estate returns, and inheritance tax returns. Casey also interacts with tax attorneys on complicated cases.
How HPU helped you get there: “I was very confident during my interview and knew how to dress and act thanks to a variety of classes and help from Career and Professional Development. Because of them, I was able to better my resume and speaking skills.”
Most impactful mentor at HPU: “Professor George Noxon, was always there to push me when I felt like I was not able to achieve my goals. He was also there to lend a helping hand when I felt lost or hopeless in my classes.”
Most impactful moment at HPU: “Graduation was the most impactful moment for me. It really was when I realized how much I had accomplished and how far I am able to go if I put my heart into it.”
Advice for underclassmen: “Listen to your teachers. All of them have been in your shoes. They have secrets to success that will help you in the long run. Don’t forget to network! Networking has opened up so many possibilities and has helped me get to know more young professionals in the accounting world.”
