“HPU gave me the opportunity to connect with Coca-Cola Consolidated at the Career and Internship Expo in the fall. At the event, I networked with many companies and learned about their open positions. The Office of Career and Professional Development worked with me on my resume and cover letter to help me submit the best portfolio for each position I applied for.”
Most impactful mentor at HPU:
“My most impactful mentor at HPU is Phillip Slater, instructor of accounting. His accounting class prepared me for the real world by teaching me how to solve common problems in the accounting field, like the ones I currently face at my internship. He is a fantastic professor, and I hope to be an accomplished accountant like him.”
What has your internship experience been like, and how is it preparing you for your future?:
“My internship experience has allowed me to use my knowledge from HPU in a real-world setting. I have already learned so much from working with the different tax teams this summer. This internship has also put me in contact with well-known accounting firms to help me get to the next level in my career. Coca-Cola Consolidated has really set me up for success in my future.”
