“Because of HPU’s small class sizes, I made strong personal connections with my professors and classmates. This helped me identify my passion for supply chain management. The staff in the Office of Career and Professional Development helped me explore various career routes and learn more about different industries. I connected with Dr. Doug Hall, vice president of Career and Professional Development, and he inspired me to go after my goals.”
Most impactful mentor at HPU:
“My most impactful mentor at HPU was the late Professor Randy Moser. He was my sales professor my freshman year, and he taught me the importance of making strong connections and negotiating, which helped tremendously during role plays in interviews.”
Most impactful moment at HPU:
“My most impactful moment at HPU was taking the First-Year Seminar on Life Skills with President Qubein. I was inspired by President Qubein’s life lessons and stories, and I know they will stay with me throughout my personal and professional career.”
How has HPU’s inspiring environment contributed to your success?
“HPU’s amazing campus contributed to my success because I was always so excited to return to HPU each year. I looked forward to class every day because I knew I was going to make meaningful connections while learning and growing as an individual.”
What are the life skills HPU helped you develop that prepared you for long-term success?
“HPU taught me to never give up. I learned how to be adaptable and coachable. Through interactive experiences like simulations and presentations in my classes, HPU prepared me for my future.”
