2026 Earth Day Festival

We are SO excited to share details for this year's all-day, festival-inspired event to celebrate both Earth Day AND the Last Day Of Classes! Circle Wednesday, April 22 on your calendar for the 2026 Earth Day Festival! We hope that you will join us for an entire day of festivities, workshops, live performances, food, and MORE!

11:00 am – 1:00 pm | Hayworth Park 🐿️ A favorite HPU Tradition – yes, the corn AND Twiggy the Waterskiing Squirrel will be there! [OPEN to Students, Faculty, and Staff]

[STUDENTS ONLY] 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm | Slane Outdoor Basketball Court 🍦🎶 [Come cool off with a GIANT waterslide, Gnam Gnam gelato popsicles, custom airbrushing, memory wall, live DJ, and more!]

[STUDENTS ONLY] It’s time to celebrate the end of the 2025-2026 academic year at HPU! Join us for the Sunset Celebration -- our annual Last Day of Classes Block Party at Patriots Plaza/Wanek Intersection from 5:30 – 8:00 pm. Enjoy a live performance featuring The John Wood Band, a mobile splatter room, giant seesaws & swings, food trucks, bungee trampolines, the famous LDOC photo op, lawn games and SO much more. Let’s wrap up the year with good vibes and great company!
