Dr. Brian M. Pacanowski is a pharmacist and educator who currently serves as Assistant Professor and Director of Experiential Education at High Point University’s Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy. Dr. Pacanowski earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The Nesbitt School of Pharmacy at Wilkes University. With over two decades of experience in pharmacy practice and management, he has consistently ranked among the top performers in customer service and patient care outcomes at CVS Pharmacy, including recognition in the top two percent enterprise-wide.

 

 

Dr. Pacanowski specializes in experiential education, overseeing the IPPE and APPE programs, recruiting and mentoring preceptors, and coordinating student placements for clinical rotations. He has played a pivotal role in developing preceptor training, advancing pharmacy education, and supporting accreditation and regulatory processes. His leadership extends to community outreach, including organizing immunization clinics and promoting public health initiatives through media appearances.

 

 

Throughout his career, Dr. Pacanowski has received multiple honors, including the CVS District Paragon Award and Best Pharmacy Awards, reflecting his commitment to excellence in pharmacy practice and education. He is an active member of professional organizations such as the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy and the American Pharmacist Association.
