Executive Council
- Application Open: April 6
- Application Closes: April 9 at 6:00 PM
- Mandatory Campaign Meeting: April 9 at 6:00 PM (virtual meeting)
- Campaigning Period
- Voting Period: April 11 (8:00 AM) – April 14 (5:00 PM)
- Announce: April 15
- Oath of Office: April 16 at 5:30 PM (GSGA Meeting and End of Year Event @ Anne Kerr Walker Ballroom, Congdon Hall)

Eligibility Requirements
Executive Council (EC)
All candidates for executive offices within the Graduate Student Government Association must:
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0, or higher, at the time of the election;
- Have served previously as elected or appointed officers, committee chairs, or program/organization representatives;
- During the current academic year, up to the time of elections and not after the election period, must have attended at least five (5) open meetings of the Graduate Student Government Association;
- For candidates seeking the position of Graduate Student Government Association President, the candidate must have attended High Point University for a minimum of three (3) semesters;
- Any of the above requirements may be waived by majority vote of the sitting Executive Council.

Appointed Executive Council (EC) Chairs
All candidates for appointed executive offices within the Graduate Student Government Association must:
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0, or higher, at the time of the appointment;
- Have attended at least two (2) open meetings of the Graduate Student Government Association, which may include the meeting of induction;
- Have the recommendation of an existing Executive Officer;
- Any of the above requirements may be waived by majority vote of the sitting Executive Council.
