High Point University is an institution we are honored to be connected with as The Premier Life Skills University. The new hotel will provide an inspiring environment to grow the leaders of tomorrow with hands-on learning opportunities.
Ken Kahn
HPU supporter and president of LRP Media Group
The Kahn Hotel is really unique. Places like this usually operate separately from a university. But to have the hotel partnering with our School of Communication will provide students opportunities unlike any other school of communication in the country.
Dr. Virginia McDermott
Dean of the Nido R. Qubein School of Communication
It’s my way of giving back, and that is the most exciting thing for me. This’ll give students hands-on experience, and they’ll get a taste of everything. They’ll see how a hotel really works.
Sheri Decker
General Manager of the Kahn Hotel
This gives any parent peace of mind. It’s a skillset their son or daughter will receive that’ll help them get a leg up on finding that first job. College is a time for students to test the waters, to figure it all out, and this will become a key part of their journey.
Gwenn Noel
HPU’s Assistant Vice President for Family Services
