The Kenneth F. Kahn School of Law Library is pleased to announce the addition of several new books and materials specifically selected to support the Academic Success Program (ASP) headed by Professor Katherine Van Tassel.
These new resources cover essential topics such as legal writing, exam preparation, case briefing techniques, and time management strategies tailored for law students. The collection includes practice question books, study guides, and supplementary materials designed to enhance classroom learning, as well as casebooks and some legal writing materials. Several highly-regarded series are available, covering the three Spring 2025 courses, including Gilbert’s Law Summaries, the Acing series, Emanuel Law Outlines, Examples & Explanations books, the Questions & Answers series, and Nutshells.
These materials are available for in-library use. Students may check them out for four hours at a time, or simply peruse the material and return to the reshelving cart. Students enrolled in the ASP program are encouraged to take advantage of these resources, which have been carefully curated to complement Professor Van Tassel’s curriculum and teaching methods. While all students are welcome to use the materials, ASP students will take priority if all copies are checked out.
To locate these materials, please visit the dedicated Reserve section or ask a librarian for assistance.
