Featured Online Resource: LearningExpress

When individuals think of library resources, they often think about our research databases. Of course, we do have access to a ton of databases that give you access to scholarly research, but we also have resources that can help you with other aspects of college life.

One such resource is LearningExpress, provided through NCLIVE. All HPU students, faculty, and staff have access to LearningExpress, which provides a variety of materials that can help you succeed.

To get started with LearningExpress, you’ll first have to access the LearningExpress homepage while using an on-campus internet connection. Because LearningExpress allows you to save your progress and take practice tests, you must create a LearningExpress account using that on-campus internet connection. Once you create an account, you can access LearningExpress from anywhere!

Off-campus and distance students interested in LearningExpress can send us an email at reference@highpoint.edu for assistance with creating an account.

Once you’ve created an account, you have full access to all the content on LearningExpress. Below are a few categories that we think might be especially interesting to HPU students!

College Success Skills

This category includes tutorials, eBooks, and articles on time management and other organizational strategies, study skills, and personal success skills such as communicating with professors and academic support.

Career Preparation

Alongside the tutorials, eBooks, and articles related to workplace skills, this category includes various career exam practice tests such as the Praxis Core Tests, Praxis Subject Assessments, and various Law Enforcement exams.

Grad Schools Admissions Preparations

This category includes GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, and other graduate school exam tutorials, eBooks, and practice tests.

Those are just a few of the resources available for HPU students through LearningExpress! As always, if we can assist you with LearningExpress or any other library resources, please ask us!
