These videos provide a glimpse at the types of life skills lessons students get when they are part of the HPU educational model. Experiences such as the President’s Seminar on Life Skills, a required course for every freshman led by HPU President Nido Qubein, equip students with a life skills-focused view of their education and contribute to successful outcomes years down the road.

HPU’s Executive Poll on Life Skills

Industry leaders are looking for employees who will add value to their organizations the moment they come on board. HPU’s Survey Research Center recently surveyed 500 C-Suite executives nationwide to find out what they want in their future hires and which traits, characteristics and attitudes they see in their current employees that make them successful. The response was resounding. Employers want what HPU teaches: life skills.

When polled, executives who hire recent college graduates explained why students fail. They revealed that 89% of the success/failure factors are related to life skills.
