How Placement Testing Works
Placement Testing is an important part of becoming a student here at High Point University. Once you have paid your enrollment deposit, you will receive an email from [email protected], detailing which placement tests you are required to take. Your individual placement test requirements and results can be found by logging into my.highpoint.edu using your HPU username and password and select the Placement Survey & Test Results card. Additionally, every student may receive personalized testing instructions that are uniquely tailored to their individual registration needs, so please read your email message carefully.

Once your tests are scored, your placements will be displayed in the Placement Test Results section of my.highpoint.edu. Tests are not automatically scored, so it may take a few days before your placements appear.
Important Note: The placement surveys and exams are designed to place you at your appropriate level in a course. Your admission to the university is in no way affected by your placements. If you have any questions or concerns about your course placements, please do not hesitate to contact [email protected].
