Foreign Language Road Map Survey
Foreign language courses are required as part of our core curriculum here at High Point University. However, before we can place you into a foreign language course, some important preliminary information first needs to be evaluated. To collect this information, all students are required to complete the Foreign Language Road Map Survey.
Once you complete and submit this the survey, we will evaluate the information you provided and then send you a follow-up email indicating whether (1) you need to complete a specific foreign language placement test, or (2) we were able to make a foreign language placement based on your Road Map Survey results (and hence, no further testing is needed).
To complete the Foreign Language Road Map Survey*, click here: Foreign Language Road Map Survey
What You’ll Need: Your 7 digit student ID # and a list of your Foreign Language Courses taken with approximate grades.
*Be on the lookout for your Survey Results email within about 1-3 business days of survey completion.
Once I have my survey results in my.highpoint.edu, what do I do?
- If you have been placed into a specific class (i.e. SPN-1020, FRE-1010, etc.), your foreign language placement test process is complete.
- If you have a placement code indicating that you need to take a test (i.e. SPN-TEST, FRE-TEST, etc.), you need to complete the specified test so that the Modern Foreign Language faculty can place you into the appropriate course level. Click the appropriate tab above to take your test.
