Kelly has championed the Piedmont Triad's most catalytic efforts of the past decade, from Whitaker Park and Innovation Quarter to the development of massive tracts at Piedmont Triad International Airport and along the Carolina Core. He is the CEO and president of Piedmont Triad Partnership. He serves as chair on the Board of Trustees at NC State University and was previously president of Wachovia Wealth Management and Wells Fargo Carolina’s community banking.
