The RASP Commitment To Service

The Office of Research Administration and Sponsored Programs (RASP) is committed to assisting our Faculty in the timely and accurate submission of grant and award proposals to a variety of sponsors. In that respect, we offer the following commitment to service for our Faculty.

  • If an “Intent to Submit” form is completed and submitted to RASP at least 1-month prior to a grant deadline that includes a link to the RFP (or attachment), RASP commits to initiating a planning and budget building meeting with the PI(s) along with a full proactive review of the RFP and communication to the PI of all applicable requirements for the submission.

  • If a proposal is completed and routed to RASP in Cayuse SP and Cayuse 424 (or other applicable online portal) at least 2 weeks (10 business days) prior to the submission deadline, RASP commits to a full review of the proposal in these system(s) and comparison against the RFP and sponsor guidelines along with a full budget review and guarantees a timely and successful submission of the proposal by the deadline free from routing errors and applicable warnings.

  • If a proposal is not completed and routed 2 weeks (10 business days) prior to the submission deadline, RASP commits only to submit the proposal, as it was routed, by the deadline and cannot guarantee accuracy of the budget or that any sponsor submission will successfully make it through their system without errors.
