Outdoor Pools
HPUREC has six outdoor heated pools each including a 16-person Jacuzzi which offers a relaxing break. Enjoy some time outside of the classroom by unwinding at the pools conveniently located at Slane Student Center, Panther Commons, Greek Village, Centennial Square 1 & 2, and Aldridge Village. All outdoor pools are currently closed until March.

Aqua Fit Classes
Looking for a pool workout more involved than open swim, then Aqua Fit might be the workout you’ve been searching for! Aqua Fit is a high-intensity workout performed on a floating board, focusing on balance, strength, and endurance while using the natural resistance of water to add an extra challenge! Aqua Fit takes fitness to the next level with dynamic exercises designed for all fitness levels. Expect a fun and engaging session where you will work on coordination, build core stability, and get your heart rate up in a workout suitable for students of all fitness levels.
Intramural Sports
Get in the game with HPUREC’s newest intramural sport, Inner Tube Water Polo (ITWP)! Offering men’s, women’s, and co-rec leagues, 6v6 Inner Tube Water Polo is a great way to be competitive and active. Sign up for ITWP on IMLeagues or the HPUREC App.
Lifeguards
Do you want to work for HPUREC? Represent HPUREC with a positive, enthusiastic attitude while monitoring/securing the safety of all within the pool area. You will gain transferable job skills applicable in the real world through your HPUREC employment experiences such as leadership, communication, and persuasive skills. Positions are available for lifeguards, both certified and uncertified.
