J.R. Moller, PhD joined the SRC and High Point University in Summer 2025. She is the Staff Director for the SRC. Hailing originally from New York, N.Y., Dr. Moller completed her PhD at UNC Greensboro in Educational Research Methodology with a concentration in Program Evaluation.
Dr. Moller’s academic background spans multiple disciplines, with Master’s degrees in both Psychology (New York University) and Forensic Mental Health Counseling (John Jay College of Criminal Justice). This interdisciplinary training uniquely positions her to understand the complexities of human behavior and measurement, essential skills for conducting rigorous research and interpreting findings across diverse contexts. Dr. Moller has a strong background in methods both quantitative and qualitative in nature.
As Staff Director, Dr. Moller oversees research operations, methodology design, and quality assurance for projects, ensuring that the HPU Survey Research Center maintains the highest standards of scientific rigor and ethical practice in its data collection and analysis efforts. She also oversees the talented staff of student Research Assistants working for the SRC.
