Off-Campus Housing Contract

If a student is opting to live off-campus, please know that we require all of our students to reside on campus until they have reached senior status in completed credit hours (96 credit hours), or commuting from their parent/legal guardian’s permanent address. The parent/legal guardian’s permanent address for a commuting student must be a North Carolina address or within 50 miles of High Point University. Students living off-campus or commuting will need to complete the Office Campus Contract through the housing portal at www.highpoint.edu/myhome under “Contracts and Forms.” Eligible students can submit this contract at anytime during the year. Contracts are reviewed on a rolling basis by the Housing Team.

*Please note your off-campus address must be more than (1) a mile radius from the University. The one mile perimeter should be measured from the closest university welcome gate to the address you are requesting to live at. It is at the discretion of the Housing Team to determine the closest gate to your desired location. In addition, a requirement of this contract is that you keep the Office of Student Life informed as to your current off-campus address and telephone number. Any changes should be reported to us immediately.
